Who We are
Shanti Devi Mittal Foundation was established by Suresh Mittal in East Delhi in the name of his mother Smt. Shanti Devi with a view to impart knowledge and self-reliant monetization skills to the underprivileged section of the society. It was started with the necessary infrastructure with a capacity of 3,500 square feet and can accommodate 500+ students at a time. SKETS HOPE CENTRE was established (Estt. 2017) in association with SKETS STUDIO PVT LIMITED, an architecture firm based in Delhi. The Trust is a Registered Trust and duly approved by the Income Tax Department with Registration No. CIT (Exemption), Delhi 12AA/2019-20/A/10289 dated 30 August 2019. The trust has a full fledged center apart from free vocational training and student education.
SKETS HOPE CENTRE
SKETS Hope Centre was founded in 2019 with a vision of imparting knowledge & self-sufficient monetizable skills to the underprivileged section of the society. A 3,500 SqFt. facility with a capacity of accommodating 500+ students at a time along with the necessary required infrastructure was set up in East Delhi by Shanti Devi Mittal Foundation formed by Suresh Mittal in the name of his mother Smt. Shanti Devi Mittal (Est. 2017) in conjunction with SKETS studio Pvt Ltd, an architecture firm based out Delhi. The goal is simple; remove the monetary factor from education and make children; young boys and girls compatible in the current ‘monetized education’ atmosphere.
HOPE SPECIAL SCHOOL
Shanti Devi Mittal Foundation wanted to create a school of the highest quality and serve one of the most marginalized communities working with love, compassion, and respect. It’s our aim to address the issue of education inequity while demonstrating how schools can act as inspiration hubs of community-related development.
So we started Hope Special School, our hope special school providing support in educating to special children and related development.
It’s our mission to transform the life of every special child in India. If we could achieve just that, we’d be very proud. However, we think that if we can support transformative change working with one of India’s most marginalized communities, then what we learn could be useful in changing the lives of all special children living in similar settings across India.

Shanti Mittal Devi Foundation – SKETS Hope Centre has been working relentlessly to provide aid and support in the crucial time of Covid-19. Since Feb, 2020, Shanti Devi Mittal Foundation – SKETS Hope Centre has been working on charitable activities like ration, face mask, sanitizer distribution to name a few. The Second wave of covid-19 virus is more dangerous than the previous virus, because of the combination of a large asymptomatic population in the society and the presence of more infectious variants of the virus during the second wave, which is much steeper than the first wave that peaked in September, In this difficult time Mr. Suresh Mittal, the founder of the SKETS Hope Center, run by East Delhi’s social organization Shanti Devi Mittal Foundation, which is involved in various social functions, is also a pioneer to help different sections of the society in this covid epidemic. This institution is providing oxygen machines / concentrators free of cost to assist different sections of the society in this oxygen shortage situation. The organization has purchased more than 20 oxygen machines and more than 50 people have benefited from this epidemic in the last one month. This organization has been helping people in the covid epidemic for the past one year. This institution has made more than 50,000 masks and distributed. Provided sanitisers to various people. Provided ration and employed women and in our tailoring training center. Under normal circumstances, this institution runs a free training center in which a six-month course in tailoring, computers and beauty parlors is conducted. In addition to this, children from class III to VII are given free coaching in all subjects.

A free corona vaccination camp was organized by Shanti Devi Mittal Foundation on 2nd July 2021, 23rd & 27th of September and in these camps more than 1000 people were vaccinated. All the people followed the safety rules and drive was conducted successfully in presence of Mentor of the Foundation CA Nitin Mittal and Patron Mr. Suresh Bindal.
